Firewagon Hockey
Many people know that the term firewagon hockey best describes the play of the 1980s but I dont believe the term was invented then. That style of hockey was played in the 40s and 50s when legends like Maurice Richard and Gordie Howe stole the show with there offensive talents. The Montreal Canadiens were the best example of early firewagon hockey setting new records and scoring goals like never before. But does anyone out there know where the term "Firewagon hockey" actually comes from. Who was the first to use it?
