Hey all out there in the hockey world. I am working on a book to be title How to Speak Hockey. I hve been searching countless texts for terms and definitions on hockey and have found a many interesting items (wait for the book) But as I have recently come to find out that there are many different ways to speak about hockey. Often terms used in hockey can mean different things simply because of where you live. Being from Montreal I am acutely aware of the fact that language changes the meaning ofsometimes common words.
So if you have any words, phrases, definitions, or just interesting points on how to speak hockey. Lets talk and when the book is published I can send off a copy.

These days, the internet has surely made things a lot easier since you could easily search the Hockey terms you need to learn online instead of browsing books and sports magazines.
